Honey

We bottle and sell raw honey only. It comes to you exactly as the bees made it. We do warm the honey slightly to facilitate bottling (to around 105 degrees), and we strain out bits of beeswax and miscellaneous bee parts. But you may still see a thin layer of foamy beeswax at the top of the bottle, or a few specks floating in your honey. These are edible and they attest to the natural goodness of our products. Over time, most raw honey varieties will crystallize (also called 'sugaring').

Honey is sold by weight.  We try to have it available in several sizes from

8 ounce bottles up to 5 pound jugs. 

Larger quantities may be available upon request.

Our Creamed Honey is 100% pure honey that has been prepared by controlling the crystallization.  The creaming process creates a product with a very fine crystal. The crystal is so small, the honey becomes smooth and silky with a spreadable consistency.  It is a wonderful spread on toast or biscuits or by the spoonful!
